Integrous Takes On New Recruit
Integrous, Birmingham-based IT solutions consultant and provider, has added web designer James Moffat to the workforce at a time when many other companies are holding back on recruitment or even cutting numbers still.
Using Graduate Advantage, the temporary and permanent recruitment agency for students and graduates, Integrous has employed James who left Aston University in 2007, went travelling for a time and returned in 2008 to carve out a career path starting at a Solihull web design company.
At the same time Integrous has signed up to the Skills Pledge and to Skills Pledge Plus committing itself to the training and development of its staff.
Qasim Majid, chief executive at Integrous, a committee member of the Institute of Asian Businesses part of Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said: “We have been determined as a company to fight the recession and have been so successful that we are now able to take on staff.
“James is the first of our new recruits. We have been able to expand the company so far that we are expecting to take on two more people in the near future.
“We are fully committed to developing staff skills throughout the company and I am sure that is a major attraction to potential staff.”
